I dunno, Beethoven did it. It's possible that you've learned enough about your own voice that you could tell your pitch and such simply by the vibrations in your vocal cords. If you absolutely had to.

Beethoven lived in a world where all the music was written down in neat little notes on paper, and he stood facing his musicians so he could watch them. And he didn't sing.

I suppose you could be a deaf rock musician, if you'd been performing long enough to be able to pick out vibrations. And you could hire someone to come in and mix the songs in the studio (but how would you know they were making the sound you wanted?). But to me, it just wouldn't feel the same.

However, if I lost my voice I'd have to kill myself.

but I do know what you mean. It wouldn't be the same. And you'd have to hire a very trusted producer, someone you've known understands you and what you want from the song.

Yeah.

Although, some young singers I've heard sound as if they can't hear how off pitch they are anyway. Hilary Duff?.

I'm sorry. I've been dealing with family issues and it's bringing out my less pleasant side.
