And it's almost Christmas. I cried about it. I think I have hormones. I heard "baby of mine" from Dumbo last night and cried when I thought about Mrs. Jumbo in the "Mad Elephant" cage cuddling Dumbo in her trunk and then reaching out toward him as he walked away and she couldn't see him anymore. SHIT. I'm crying again. This is a bad day.

David says that they want the government to take over their pensions. He doesn't think the government should take over the pensions of a company that is still in business and paying their executives $4 million salaries.

Dear Anonymous - That's true. I guess I didn't percieve my thoughts as caring for other people. Thanks for the note.

Susan - Sorry about your day. You strike me as someone who can really feel for other people and I think that is really cool. People like you make up for people like me who don't really know how to do that. I don't know how much inside scoop David has on the GM administration, but I haven't heard anything like that. I do know that according to Forbes, GM CEO Richard Wagoner has been with the company for 28 years and in 2004 he pulled in $8.5 million. That's a lot, even by CEO standards.

you should watch Roger and Me. A little Holiday entertainment that I'm sure the whole family would enjoy.
