Today's Confession

I am scared of drag queens.

Strangely enough, I am not scared of To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar or John Travolta in Hairspray. I wonder what that says about my psychological state. LOL!

Have you seen Trick? Miss Coco Peru = hilarious!

There's a clip on YouTube, but I think it's better in context... so, if you haven't seen the movie, you should see the movie. (You have Netflix, right?) Tori Spelling is in it. AND Christian Campbell, who is just as cute as a bug's ear with his dimpled cheeks.

I absolutely love Trick! It's probably my favorite gay themed movie. How cute is Christian Campbell?!? The piano playing scene was just too darling. :)

Oh, Miss Coco Peru was hilarious! I had forgotten about her!

I've watched it four times in the past four days. It's just so nice and fluffy. It's almost my favorite... Beautiful Thing is still at the top, even though it's more dramatic. (I ought to make a list, in order... heh. We could compare!)

Have you seen Christian Campbell in other movies? Any recommendations for whenever I can afford Netflix again?

It is nice and fluffy and just fun to watch. Lots of gay movies tend to be depressing and downbeat and it's nice to have a little bit of an escape from that. Beautiful Thing is a really wonderful movie...I haven't seen that in years. I need to rent that one again.

BTW, that list comparison is a good idea. I need to come up with some movies for that one. I've seen so many that I can't really remember any of them off the top of my head. Oh, I lied, because I just remembered one. Get Real. Have you seen that? It's really fabulous. I also love the crazy ones like The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. LOL! That's an insane movie.

I haven't really seen Christian in any other movies. I did see him do a few episodes of All My Children a few years ago and then I caught him in the Reefer Madness musical that aired on Showtime. Weird, but kind of fun. Honestly, he was the only reason that I wanted to see it.
