I'm sorry you didn't have a great Glinda. I've seen some amazing Glindas and they really add a ton to the show. Of course, I'm sure you don't just plan to see it once, either!
Okay, so delayed commenting but I just saw it a week ago when I was down, and of course I saw the Saturday matinee and then Saturday night!!
We had a standby for Elphie in the matinee - Patrice someone - who was absolutely amazing, so beautiful and stunning as Elphie, just perfect. In the main show we had Amanda Harrison who annoyed me so much - she really didn't get Elphie and she was all gummy....her gums were massive! >.< She was sick though, when she flew up and belted out 'So if you care to find me look to the-' and then on 'western' her voice cracked out, but she recovered enough to finish the act and be replaced by Patrice.
Uhm, uhm, uhm - what else? Oh! Bert Newtown as the wizard was alright - I wish I could have seen Rob Guest! I didn't like it in No Good Deed how she didn't raise up from the floor. Sad D:

She wasn't bad, just not quite as awesome as I was expecting. Because I am biased. But oh, the Elphie. So damn good.
