As there was some confusion over the ending of my snarry_games fic, and I don't want to spoil anyone by posting the explanation in comments, the ending is explained here. My apologies for not making things clear enough within the story.
The Epilogue takes place several years after the end of the war. The Holly wand does indeed belong to Harry, but is embedded in the stone because Harry is still capable of performing magic just as well with Snape's wand. It was Harry's way of giving a bit of himself to this particular memorial, and a way for Harry to keep a bit of Snape with him.
The boy is Harry's son, though I've left it up to the reader to decide who the mother is. Harry brings him there to honor the man he's named for, Severus Snape. The character death was Snape's.
