Last year I got the classroom as the teachers before me had wanted it. This year I thought I had mapped it out well enough for the custodial staff to put it, but it still isn't the way I want it. I don't know what to do just yet so I'm leaving it this way for now. It isn't too bad and it's nothing a few extra hours at school couldn't fix if it

my room has had the same layout going on 4 years. I always have to put things back in order when they are done doing what ever.

When I went up in June all my stuff was in the hallway so they could wax and I knew I would be rearranging when I got back. Turns out, I had to search in the whole building for some of my stuff!

It's huge! The end of school and the beginning of school stink because I have to move everything back across the room from the closet. It's like walking a couple of miles with 20 to 40 lbs.

Last year I was a first year teacher but I got the biggest room because it is a "science room."

I'm so jealous-- your classroom is HUGE!! Mine is a polygon since we're in pods. . .

I'm going to take pics before and after decorating. . . I'll post em when I have em :)

My custodians at this school rock. . . out of habit I put masking tape on all of my furniture (except for student desks) so that they wouldn't lose anything during cleaning. . . but they must've made a map cuz everything was exactly as I left it last year only much cleaner :)

I've never seen our building clean. The 7th grade building is spotless and wonderful. Our building could make you sick...literally. The guy who cleans our floor does a pretty good job but all together, the building could be cleaner. I think they take a smoking break every 30 minutes...

Yeah, It is huge. I was really surprised when I first got it! First year teachers don't usually get to feel this lucky!
