Whoa, a blast from the past indeed! Many, many congratulations and here's hoping you manage to get some sleep still. :) Good to hear from you again, it's been so long.
Wow, that’s huge news! I remember reading about difficulties, so it’s awesome that you did become pregnant. Congratulations!
Amy is 10 now and will be starting secondary school (Gymnasium) after the summer holidays. Still with the same company, still with Stella. Currently learning Turkish, after sticking with Cornish for three years or so.
Wait, WHAT?! WOW! MORE 'W' WORDS!ext_2171823April 8 2016, 10:21:16 UTC
On a whim, I decide to browse my old bookmarked blogs that I've not checked in a donkey's age, and stumble across your wonderful news!
So yes, I'm excruciatingly late to this one, but CONGRATULATIONS and welcome to the parent party.
We recovered enough sleep and energy from our first one (Gabriel's turning 4 in June) that, fools us, we just went and did it again. Our daughter Tamsin was born at the start of March - yes, like five weeks ago - and we're having wonderful fun getting used to the new normal.
Ally continues to be her brilliant self, doing science and making the world a better place, and I still goof around as general web project development manager for the Fringe.
I hope this note still finds its way to you after all this time. Congratulations and all the very best.
A thought that came to my mind when reading this entry: when you came to terms, your will was executed. Acquiring humility makes you prepared to accept the gift of God. You were just not prepared before.

Happy birthday, by the way!
(And apologies for the late response - I missed your reply.)
