Yes, I think Uma's engagement could very well have resulted in Tarantino's making of Death Proof. Not that I'm saying it's that bad, it's just not that good...

I haven't seen Death Proof yet, and I don't think I will. Sometimes that man just doesn't know what kind of film he's making... and now he'll be heart sick for Uma's feet and who knows where that could lead!
