I'm excited about having kids- and I'm pumped for natural birth because after it's over I can tell everyone I did it (we'll see how pumped I feel for child 2- but then my mom didn't know she was in labor with me and by the time she figured it out and made it to the hospital, I was crowning). That's like climbing Mount Everest or something! If I couldn't get to a hospital, you'd definitely be on the list of people I'd choose to help deliver my baby.

But aren't things kind of stretchy?

Despite all (doubts, fears, etc.), I still think if I really had a choice, I would want to have children.

Added: I think the process of labor does wonders for the stretchiness. If you were to try to give birth now (like, a baby miraculously appeared inside you and said it wanted out) it probably wouldn't work without tearing things apart, but I think labor prepares the body for the actual getting the baby out process.
