Attrition

I still read on a fairly regular basis, but I've stopped posting partly because I'm out of the habit and partly because I felt my entries were too whiny and I didn't want that kind of online persona anymore. I think part of it is that I have another blog (actually, two, although I'm only posting to one...)...and I just feel like spending the time on long rambling introspective posts these days. I'd rather just pick up the phone and call some one and chat for 10 minutes, or an hour...or skype with them...

I will sheepishly admit, however, that I do like reading long rambling posts. I just find myself getting sucked into the LJ world, which is fine sometimes, but right now I'm feeling the need to be mindful of my screen time. I post on my blog once a day, check facebook once or twice, and then I'm done. Off in the garden, riding my bike, chatting with friends, or just being in silence.

Maybe someday I'll post more on LJ...who knows?
