"I think that's reserved for when they're born," Xander said helpfully and not at all as if the only way he'd managed to distract himself from doing just that was to create a small Jenga tower out of neatly-wrapped Twinkies on the nearest empty lab bench. "Conception's traditionally more about... maybe you should just pace."

"Oh, I'm planning to pace then too," Bridge assured him. Maybe he could just spend the entire next nine months doing so?

"Do you actually have that scheduled out?" Xander asked, only half joking because Bridge. "Like little blocks of time for the pacing and the giving away cigars and the passing out?"

"No!" Bridge protested. In a way that totally gave away that by 'no' he meant 'maybe'.

"I don't see why not," Jen said, without looking up from her computer (because hi no paid icon space left some people were workaholics). "Unless you should be morphing."

"... You don't think this would require morphing, do you?" Bridge asked, suddenly concerned.

"It may have come up a time or two, yes," Bridge said dryly.

"I don't see any reason why not," Z said. "Just don't plan on pacing for nine months, that might be a bit much."

"You think?" Bridge mused, looking thoughtful. "Good exercise, though," he pointed out.

"You have to sleep at some point," Z pointed out. "You're going to be getting plenty of no sleep after the baby comes."

"I'm a Power Ranger," Bridge retorted. "Which means I am basically an expert at functioning on no sleep."
