I toyed with a few older games since getting the new laptop (Doom 3, Half Life 2). Only bought one since, the new Deus Ex game and haven't spent long on it. I'm pretty close to a self-imposed famine myself these days.

The new Deus Ex should have been on my wishlist too. I also really need to return to Half-Life 2 on account of awesomeness.

I went through HL2 back in the day but cracked it out to see running smoothly for once. Same story with Doom 3. The third Deus Ex is a damn sight better than the second, remains to be seen if it matches the original though.
