[ Picture this. Bright blue skies, a beautiful day, and a plump yellow ball of a canary bird is circling around, singing the school anthem so loudly anyone can hear it.
And it's so obvious who the bird belongs to, because it dips low, swoops in through the open windows of Hibari's private council room, and it trills excitedly - Hibari! Hibari! And

Hm? Hibari's bird? He has that sort of cute side? His shoulders shook violently as he laughed to himself before deciding that he was going to go up for a visit. Instead of a more polite manner of entering and alerting the other of his appearance, Izaya cheerfully quipped:]
Ah, Kyouya-kun makes those sort of faces, too.
[Then politely tipped his head.]
I'm coming in, all right?

He silently runs through a list of the things he could do to such an intruder, especially someone like Izaya, but dismisses them for a moment. He's not in the mood, today, and he'd rather see what the other student is up to. ]
And if I said no?

[Lies and slander. If something was interesting enough, he would of course just come right in, but it was nice to pretend that he was the kind of person who wouldn't.]
Naturally, I would leave if you said no.

[ Hibari says coolly, his gaze cutting across to him, and there is a lingering warning in the undertones. Hibari does not allow just anyone to call him by his given name, see?
...Hibari doesn't doubt, for a moment, that Izaya will come in whether or not a denial is issued, for the sole reason that he's so much like Mukuro it's almost uncanny. ]
No, you won't.

It's rare that she would come and visit, and as always, her presence is one that is not unwanted. ]
It's one bird.

He's relaxed, even as Hibird chirps and hops away, sensing that it would probably be better off outside. A corner of his mouth lifts in barely restrained amusement, an arm resting on the table, and he's aware of the position that Freuling's chosen. ]
Are you calling me a bird?

The bird lands nearby and Mikelo whistles along with it, getting a flutter from the canary before it takes off again and circles once over his head, which gets a silent chuckle from the teen. He's well aware of who its owner is, and continues to follow, anyway.
Mikelo takes a few moments to remove his skates and slip his sneakers back on. After linking said skates by knotting the laces together, they're draped over a shoulder and he makes his way into the building.
Clearly the room is easy to find.
Hibari's expression is most notable, but it's the bird that has Mikelo with a look of amusement, even delight.
There's the sound of a page or two being turned in a notebook, the quick scribble of a pen on paper. He knocks once on the door frame before holding up the comment-- ]
