[He's not really out here because he wants to be, promise, it's just something to do that isn't the pile of homework (mostly poetry) he's been avoiding. And the lights do look pretty cool, but that doesn't make it any less gay.
Kazu perches himself at a bench, somewhere, hands shoved into pockets sulkily.
Sano's still working on organising things here and there - with volunteers only grudgingly half-listening as he gives out directions - but for the most part the biggest rush is over. It's already getting late, and everything's looking good, and he's starting to feel the ache in his feet. Probably about time he sat back to just enjoy the event.
The nearest bench is already occupied, but, well. He doesn't really want to walk far to find another seat, so over he comes. ]
[Begrudgingly went out to have a look. This isn't really his thing, but his curiousity got the best of him this time around. All the pretty lights are . . . nice, so far, but what's the whole point of it?
Whatever. There's Haru- at least, she's someone to talk to.]
Ah, hey! I didn't think you'd be the type to come to these festivals. [Grins, and points to a distance.] See that hill there? I'm going stargazing for real.
[This isn't really her crowd, and it shows by the way her eyes shift from one person to the other. Too many people. Too many. But she's here for a reason, to make an old friend happy.
There's a sense of infinite peace, whenever she's around the small girl. She can't describe it, but it's definitely there. And something like that deserves at least hot chocolate.]
[He's lying on the grass under a tree somewhere, watching the sky & various lights and mingling people. This whole festival thing seems a bit pointless, but at least it's relatively relaxing.]
The lights were pretty- pretty enough to have lured Eli out, and away from his puzzles. He wandered down the streets of the campus alone, admiring the work that the students had put into the starlight festival.
Pretty, pretty. Eli almost smiled at the sheer spectacle of it all.
