It's the end of February (nearly March). I need to seriously start thinking about who is going to replace me as Hufflepuff captain next year. I've kept a few things at the back of my mind all year, but now is the time to sit and contemplate them a bit more, I think. It won't be an easy decision, whatever it is I do. And then, whoever is captain the year after is going to have a hell of a time, because the entire team, nearly, is going to have to replaced after the 1983-1984 season.
And I don't even want to talk about school and revision and all of that. I'm just- no, not talking about it.
Well, it's two months from today that we play our next Quidditch match. Gods that going to be a bit brutal, waiting that long. But at least that means that we've got a lot of practice time to get ready. And lots of matches to listen to on the wireless. This past weekend was particularly good. I listened to Portree's match against the Wasps (no Kestrel's matches, sadly), and whoa.
I enjoyed last Hogsmeade weekend, and I'm certainly looking forward to the next one! And Easter Hols, of course, but I think that goes without saying. I can't wait to see certain people for a few days on end.
All that said, I've got to run. Don't want to be late for my own practice, after all! Things will be light tonight, don't worry. The fifth day in a row always is a bit exhausting.
