started completely from scratch using the older version of the software. came up with a new, much cheaper design. worked out a few kinks in the design and badly proposed our bridge to linman. he told us we need to get rid of some joints or come at him with a better proposal. finally, we discussed possibly getting rid of four or five pieces to cut ( Read more... )

first we tried to cut pieces from the design me and rosie made while fooling around with the program last class, unsuccessfully. then we tried a couple different designs and came up with a new one. the new design is very ugly and ended up costing over $200,000... we will try again next class.
