whatever happened to Christmas caroling?

I remember Christmas caroling as a kid. Mostly in high school, but we always had carolers come by when I was really young.  I want to get some kids together and go caroling this year but I think the kids will just laugh and say it sounds really dumb.  Maybe if I bribe them with cookies and cocoa?  Stay tuned

I miss that too. We always went with our church youth group to nursing homes and hospitals. The elderly really enjoy it, in particular.

are your kids old enough you think? I told Karen and Donna I would like to go the night of Dec 22. and then we could come back here and have cookies and cocoa, what do you think?

I think they probably don't know Christmas carols well enough to do much actual singing, but they would enjoy being a part of the group. It sounds like fun!

Well, I take that back. They know the kid-friendly ones like Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Which is probably what the Big Kids know, too. =)
