Just got back from visiting UCLA and I LOVED IT!! The campus was fun, lots of asians, great music program, and I loved the cello teacher too. He's really nice and gave me a really good lesson. I can really see myself there but I won't make my full decision until I see Brandeis and NYU next week but we'll just say I'm 70% sure now I'm going UCLA

the only caveat that i will throw out there is i have a friend here who is a composer, transfer from UCLA... who didn't like the musicianship there... but that's just him too

anyway. have fun visiting the other schools :))

hiiiii jannnieeee bananieeeeee!!!! how are you?! yea. the music department is getting better! they've had bad teacher's in the past and now its gotten wayyyy better. anyways, this summer if i end up going to ucla I'm going to summer school in aug. and on tour with oyo in june. so my july is pretty much free! =D and we should DEFINITELY hang out dude!!!! haha. hope all is well! i miissss you!!!! take care!

that's what i said when i visited cornell, only to later visit berkeley and want to go there. well whatever decision you make, you can't go wrong, all your schools on your list are good.

haha. go to cornell!!! I was just talking to my mom and she was telling me that when her and my sis went back east to visit, for lunch they had baked bay scallop for lunch in the cafeteria and it was SOOOO good!!

i heard ucla has pretty good food too. all i know is that berkeley's food SUCKS. oh oh and la has the best boba!!! air is prolly cleaner in brandeis (wherever that is...), though, but oh well...i say go for LA! it's CHEAPER TOO!!! ^___^

hahahahaha!! no comparison to berkeley food. I have heard so many horror stories about it too! lol. ring of mold around the apple juice dispenser... reusing salad leaves that fall on the floor... etc. its just plain wrong!!
