There are no good answers in situations like this -- any choice is deeply tragic. I won't criticize the parents for making that one.

I still don't know how I feel like this. I feel that the parents are acting in what they feel is her best interest, and I respect that. On the other hand, that isn't really much of a life. I don't know what I would do, and I really wouldn't want to find out, but I'm glad they're trying to do right by her.
