so I see you have added me to your friends list, may I ask why?

Certainly. You're a member of single_n_sod_it; you're a friend of schmimi and thunderslug. We have a lot of the same interests, and I like your posts. That suffice? :)

Your randomthought post on joining communities caught my attention, especially the later explanation:

"I don't really read all of them. joining communities is just a hobby. Something I do when Im bored. *shrugs* Im also trying to figure out if theres a limit to how many I can join."

Although I have a home, I sympathize with your situation, because I move around a lot as a student. So in effect I have multiple homes.

And bathroom reading... ^_^

Your interests are variably shared, but your posts are usually insightful/entertaining/agreeable. Hence, you got friended.

uh, i didn't fill out the filter poll, i don't think, and now i can't find it. :D feel free to put me on whatever filters...if one of 'em starts to drive me batty i'll let you know. lol!

I'm a free user, so I don't get actual polls. I have to make do with "plain-text" questions. *mock-sniffle* Added to everything so far, quiz, survey, tarot. Whee!

heee! yeah, that was a confusion thing. :D i found the friend with the filter poll a few mintues ago. *smacks forehead*

oh, and i can easily do polls for you. i'm pretty sure if i make it, you can just post the code in your journal. ;) i've also done searches for my free buddies. lol!

what are you doing in the way of tarot?

bridgetester April 28 2004, 15:47:35 UTC
Interesting about the polls... I'll let you know the next time I have a question that works for that.

*nods* I have enough friends with paid accounts that I can ask. But I'm lazy, and they aren't always around when I feel like asking.

Not too much. I don't have a deck of my own (yet), so I'm using web tarot for the moment. *points at memories* Go lookie. I don't know about the accuracy per se, but it's helping me think, and even the concepts expressed by the different tarot cards are mind-expanding.

OK, I want to know why you friended me?

Found you through atariprincess, who I found through the sadly defunct community hugs_and_love.

Your interests amuse me greatly, and the posts are decent either. :)

I feel a bit stupid but I'm not sure how those filters work *blush*. I am also curios why you added me. I don't mind at all I'm just curios. I haven't been a member for very long and haven't really posted much. I read a lot though.

In this case, the filters are on my end and you don't have to do anything besides express interest in a topic. Then I'll add you to a certain group that would see quizzes, surveys, or tarot readings. When I make a post on that topic, I select that group using the Custom option ( ... )

As for why I added you, I found you through my_soft_mistake.

I understand school and computer problems, and your interests are neat.

But what/who are "Craig Rice", "transvision vamp", and "voice of the beehive"?

The last makes me think of a truly awful indie sci-fi film."Wax, or the invention of television among the bees" *shudders*

Craig Rice is an author known as "The Queen of Screwball Mystery".

Transvision Vamp is a band http://www.itm-ed.de/tvamp/
and so is Voice of the beehive http://www.voiceofthebeehive.com/

I agree that is sounds like an awful movie.
