I heard that Michael Bolton had made an appearance in Brasov, but nobody mentioned David Copperfield!  The mountains have disappeared!  And it's snowing!  Our plan was to go to Bran today to see Dracula's Castle, and the one thing I had hoped for after Cousin's Sarah's visit was not to go there in the snow...so much for that plan.  Well we're not

how nice of you!!! you baked for them!!!! it never occurred to me to cook them anything...but bridget is well aware of my lack of domestic skills! geordie is the chef in that house!!!
i do remember that about the eggs. and rumor has it if you buy the cheap rice, you have to sift gravel out of it!!!
carrefour was very nice!
stock up on that water!! but, as you've probably found out, you do have to ration your fluid intake because you don't know when you'll find a bathroom!!! i remember before we went to bran, i had only 6 ounces of diet coke before we left. i needed the caffeine but i didn't want to have to pee!!! and in a turkish toilet no less!!!
