Well, the bars are your "hit points" and "magic points." Red is HP, and blue is MP. If your HP reaches zero, then you die, but if your MP reaches zero, then you can't use anything that requires MP. I can only guess that "briefandbright" is your user name, like in an online game.

I guess this is what the new curse is, since a lot of people are posting about it on the network. I've been going around talking to some of the locals, and it seems like they're giving quests for us if we want to.

Basically, the people will ask you to do something for them, and you get a reward by completing the quest! In most of the games I've seen, you get experience and either money or an item.

It's a lot of fun, and a nice way to pass the time on the weekends if you've got nothing planned! Some people get together with friends and make a party to do quests together.
