Memory Loss

Ignoring my current hideous mood, I shall write about my weekend.

Friday night we went to see Dawn of the Dead. SO good, I really enjoyed it. I still favor the original, of course, but for a "revisioning", I thought they did a great job. And I loved that the zombies ran. Fast. On Saturday, we went over the evicted friend's house to see "his" ( Read more... )

Doesn't seem possible that it's been ten years since Cobain's death. Nor how tired we can be in just 10 years. I was about 10 then, and I have to agree with you: if only we could feel that wonderment again.

Funny how when you're in the moment, all you want to do is get out of it. Then once you do, you long to get it back. At 11, I couldn't WAIT to be 21. Now at 21, I can't wait to be 25 and hopefully more settled. But I'm sure when that birthday rolls around, I'll either feel really old, or not have accomplished what I wanted to by that age. *sigh* hehe

Yeah that's good thinking: ask ME what we did over the weekend. Like I just MIGHT remember. Probably not, but I might. I think notes would work better...
