NYC

Took the students to NYC this past weekend. Had a GREAT time there... saw "The Color Purple", had a workshop with the Asst. Conductor, went to hear the NY Philharmonic, ate at Bubba Gump's and John's Pizzaria (my favorite pizza place in NYC) and then did all of the normal tourist things - Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and shopping! Oh

I"m happy you had a good time...St. John the Divine is one of my all time favorite performance spaces....

Went to Jim Henson's Memorial Service, Vaclav Havel's Visit to US, Winter Solstice Concerts, etc..etc...

Nothing like hearing "Fanfare for the Common Man" bellow in that cathedral..the acoustics are awesome xoxoxoxoxo
