The clock is ticking and the countdown is on. Another new year full of fresh promise and endless opportunities lays before us. We are about to begin the first pages of a brand new book, with the power to pen each chapter for ourselves.

I'm really glad this is fiction, though, and I hope not too much of it is based in fact. At least you're not married to that abusive loser, so that's a plus. :)
