You could also make a lot of toffee apples!

Maybe we could slice some of them and dry them, too, for the winter months.

Toffee apples? Now that's something I don't think I've heard of before. You might have to come on over and show us how those are done!

Good idea. And I've got a clue as to how to dry them out very fast, too.

I'm not sure if you've ever had caramel apples before, but it's the same basic principal, just that they're coated with colored sugar instead of caramel! But I would love to come help!

Ah, you do?

You know where the house is, right? Come on over!

Yes. Fire, carefully used.

Are you offering produce freely to all of Adstringendum?

I am! The trees were here before I was, it doesn't make any sense to keep them all to myself.

Usually people wait a little while after they compliment someone to ask them a favour.

I'll take a look later. How many rooms are you after?

I'm still attempting to decode part of Al's notes - but you can see what I've got so far.

Do they? I would never have guessed. Ever. Maybe I had a hunch.

Whatever you can manage. A lot of young people have been winding up here without anywhere to go, and it might be nice to have a temporary place for them to start off from that doesn't tax Miss Unohana too much.

Thanks! And I can always help with decoding.

The same hunch you had years ago?

I'll do my best with what I've got. Unohana's the one with the clinic, hmn? Isn't that generally where most people end up when they arrive?

Hn. I'd appreciate that.

Which hunch was that?

Yes, that's where they start. But some of them want someone around with a paternal air, that they know would care about them.

Of course.

We should design a few cellars to hold them as well, Maes-san. Kept in a proper environment, apples can last a few months. That would see us through winter.

That's an excellent idea, Miss Unohana. They would need to be protected against damp, animals, sunlight, warmth... what else?

It looks like you have it all covered, Maes-san.
