Definitely some interesting food for thought there...things that have crossed my mind a time or two as well. One thing...it's become the American way of life. It's been beaten into our skulls to want more...bigger, stronger, faster, more...strive to "keep up with the Jones"...or better yet, surpass them. It's all become about competition. Who's got the faster car? Who's got the most expensive car, or the bigger SUV? Who's got the bigger house? Who's farther in debt to finance all the above? I probably could move up in my company if I so desired...but I don't. Be a supervisor, and put up with all the b.s. that comes with it? No, thank you. I'll stick to my position, where I can sit in my cubicle, entering information into the computer...and listen to my CDs on my headphones, drowning out the rest of them. I do my job, I keep quiet, and I don't rock the boat. Of course...I'm living paycheck to paycheck, and worried about paying bills. So what's the answer?? I know the answer...get off my ass & pursue what I REALLY want to

I've found that plans suck, plans get broken, ideals change, priorities move up and down...
Moments...
Moments are where it's at. Living for that moment of intimacy, of exhilliration, of LIFE! When it's all said and done, and you are setting at home after a year of drama, a month of working late, a week of vacation, a day of raunchy sex, or a second of a kiss with that person you thought you could never touch; only the moments will remain.
