Really? Can you provide me a link? I have been looking for anything that could be construed in that way, and can not find anything. The blogger you mentioned says that, but he obviously has an axe to grind.
Of course, if you are going to say that some newsletter of one of those obscene right-wing religious extremists groups represents American media then I suppose you could be correct. You can always find one of those nut jobs that will give you the ammo you are looking for to portray Americans in any light you like.

The thing is the wording used by the mainstream media, not that blog, which is reporting (yes, in a choice manner) what people see government and prominent newscasters say. That blog is not a single blogger, it is a while bevy of (yes, similarly minded) bloggers. It isn't them saying things, it is them reporting what they see on TV, in newspapers and online. Things like 'chose to stay' rather than 'couldn't leave' for example. And yes, I know that there must be an equal amount of media over there who would say 'couldn't leave' even for those that 'chose to stay'!
The real danger to New Orleans at the moment must be more hurricanes, even if they aren't as strong as the current one. Also when they block in the levees they've got to hope that doesn't doesn't create a breach somewhere else where it is weakened. It must be an awful task to do.

It's not the fault of the press if they report things that other people (who are in charge) say.
Have you looked for yourself, or are you taking the British press & this bloggers word for it?
