Addendum to Case File #205 - Confirmation that it was Sandalphon responsible for the attack on Fakir at the Opera House on December 27. According to the Hall of the Missing, Sandalphon appears to no longer be present within the city. I'll officially file the full report at headquarters in the morning.

Everyone present with more than just me in the unit, no one on an evil rampage, having a hysterical fit, incarcerated, getting married, trapped in a mirror city, cursed into thinking or being a plush toy, asking or answering stupid questions, baking cakes, or otherwise acting strangely? Right, then.
I'd like to take this opportunity to officially welcome all of you to the newly reformed Special Assault & Tactics Unit. I'm Riou, currently acting head of the division. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you should ever have any questions, concerns, or ideas regarding this department.
As I'm sure you've already been briefed, we are the unit called in during dangerous or delicate situations, against supernatural suspects, or when heavy magic or weaponry is required. However, this does not preclude you from normal patrols and the regular duties of other officers, if you so wish.
That being said, as we will be working closely together in some rather dicey situations, I would like for the entire unit to personally meet so that we may more accurately gauge and familiarize ourselves with the skills, both strengths and weaknesses, of the people we'll be working with, to best compliment each other and better work in tandem. We will also be testing out some possible future equipment for the city watch at the time.
Please report to the shooting range, in the southeast forest between apartment buildings four and five, at [insert convenient time before Tuesday night] with all your necessary equipment needed for a proper demonstration. We may be venturing down Underground at a later point as well. Looking forward to seeing you then!

Something I've been talking over with some friends of mine which I've been meaning to post about in between the zombie invasions and fits of random insanity. There seems to be no one who's been here for much longer than two years. What could that mean... what happened two years ago?
Did everyone prior to that time manage to escape en mass? Did the city eat them all? Did the city even exist before then? Or perhaps we have all been here before then, but have had our memories erased? Is this somehow related to the clock and the supposed end of all worlds? Are there any answers out there or have I just been afflicted with a random question curse?
. . . . and on an unrelated note, has anyone ever found books about themselves in the library before?
