If someone who wasn't in charge of regulating the Internet said things like that, it would be less of a big deal. Even if you assume he does know what he's talking about... It's as if a baseball commissioner talked about how the teams would be ranked according to how many touchdowns they scored this year or something. It'd be better if it didn't come from someone who ought to demonstrate some competency in what they're talking about. :p

And just so you know, I had heard about and personally mocked Mr. Stevens before Jon Stewart did his piece, so, while Jon was amusing, he wasn't what brought this to my attention.
