It did go well....over in Italy. It only became a story because someone at the London Guardian got a hold of the ad and saw how horrible it was. Apparently, according to some reports on this, Italy doesn't feel that pulling your eyes out like that is a racist gesture and can't understand why people feel it's offensive.

Yeah, the best part about that story is where they stand around wondering what the big deal is. I read the Yahoo news version of the report, and it had quotes from the players. The most negative was that one player felt it was a 'childish' move, but not racist. How could it be racist? Oh Spain.
