Lesson of the Day : It's Better to Repeat Things of Your Own Volition

Jan 04, 2009 18:59

How many times have I--? Please be advised that there have been a series of attacks in the area again. Be cautious, especially when traveling alone, and report any suspicious activity to the city watch.

What have you discovered from your "poking"?

That the barrier can poke back hard if you poke too hard. Otherwise a lot of "ifs" "perhaps" and "buts".

It sounds exciting.

. . . . that was one word for it, certainly. I don't think the people involved are in any hurry for a repeat, however.

actually he's not, but he's trying not to angst too much i_themagician January 5 2009, 06:53:07 UTC
Of course I'm interested.

we shall cover our angst by doing stupid things with energy barriers! bright_shield January 5 2009, 06:59:01 UTC
That's good to hear. At this point it looks like mostly taking new arrivals for their first gander at the barrier.

it's the MANLY thing to do! i_themagician January 5 2009, 07:23:18 UTC
Just for observation, or for actual experimentation as well?

Yes, the girls just don't understand! bright_shield January 5 2009, 07:37:58 UTC
It depends upon what the others would like to try. I'd personally like to see individual power reactions on the barrier... on a much milder scale than before.

Disgusting-

I recommend we publicize fully the descriptions we have of the first killer, and the minute we get an idea of this second one, his as well.

Considering the people here, a citizen arrest is entirely probable.

Unfortunately at this point all we have regarding the heart killer is two disembodied hearts and not much else.

Regarding the Major, he's quite well known, but any arrest attempt would have to be well strategized.

Shall we publicize the description for the attacks on the women, at the least, then.

He seems a threat.

Ah, for the other mutilation case then? Yes, warnings were given when they first started, but the more the better in this case.

Yes, to put it lightly, I'm afraid.

... Are there moving orders?

And I'm interested.

police filter || BTW, would the cops know about Gaara's ability to spy through sand? bright_shield January 6 2009, 02:35:36 UTC
Unfortunately, no, in both cases we're still in intelligence gathering mode. Any further input regarding dealing with Millenium is also appreciated.

Regarding the barrier?

Reply

police filter || OH, most def. sandmullet January 6 2009, 04:38:38 UTC
Understood.

Yeah.

police filter ||Cool,Riou'll bring up possibly having Gaara try to spy on Millenium to Hawkeye then? bright_shield January 6 2009, 04:46:27 UTC
We might have some further developments on that front shortly.

Have you ever been to the barrier before?

Ah, the other curse day was interesting.

There are more attacks?

[OoC: btw, if you wanna backdate and poke Demyx's entry where he mentions the heart, feel free.]

It was certainly something all right. I'm not sure if it was tougher on the affected or unaffected. I'm mildly surprised no one tried selling city guides down by the fountain.

I'm afraid so. And different ones this time.

[[ooc : All right, thanks, if none of the characters from the investigative branch poke him, I just might. /o/]]

Yeah . . . I can imagine how it must have been for people that saw all of their friends forgetting everything.

Ah-really?

[OoC: I'm not planning any posts for him until that power-switch thing, so up to you~! ♥ . . . lol, ironic emoticon. D:]

Not to mention having to repeat everything repeatedly to the hordes of people wandering around going "huh"?

Yes. The details are a bit ... dark... I'm afraid.

[[ooc : *debates* Someone should probably go pick it up before it rots too XD; Yes, be concerned Patty-chan!]]
