Call for book recommendations

I'm looking for some good reading. In particular, I'm looking for books (possibly text books or books used in university classes) about:
· queer theory
· gender theory
· history of school/education in theU.S.

Any ideas?

Oh!
There was this book I had it was fantastic and I meant to buy but somehow didn't (I was such a BROKE ASS in college). It was called Two-Spirit People: Native American Gender Identity, Sexuality, and Spirituality
I think it is excellent especially since n.a. gender roles have been misunderstood by a large ignorant portion of the gay and transgendered communities.

Thanks. I have that book (along with several others on the same general subject) on my wish list at Amazon.com, but I wasn't sure if any of them were very good. Now I know.
