Hey! Hey! I got a dog! She's sooooo beautiful. Puppy doesn't have a name yet. She looks like a reddish golden retreiver. Her sister looks like a yellow lab. They were found by a neightbor crawling out of a dumpster at a mountain picnic sight. I love love love her. She is still skinny and skittish, but that will change. Such an adorable

I'm watching Law and Order: SVU. One of the crime lab guys is Elvin from The Cosby Show. Another lady is Jeanie, the HIV positive nurse from ER. I love seeing stuff like that. You may ask why I don't post for most of the summer, then I post stuff like this. I don't have a good answer for that.

This summer there were several people who were especially good to me. I spent a long five weeks in Houston. Climbing_monkey helped distract me when I needed it. Bayker was kind enough to send me a couple of postcards to brighten my spirits. Sprkid and Anotheryourself sent me postcards, letters, coloring books, toys, and Alf. What more could I ask for?

The good news: Yesterday I got my carpets cleaned. Today they are painitng the entire interior of my house. I will finally be able to settle in.

The bad news: I big-ass ant crawled up my pants and bit/stung me. It hurts like hell. Damn ants. I swear I'm going to remember to buy some ant-killer next time I'm in town.

I should update. Really, I should.

Too many lesson plans.

Too little sleep.

Not nearly enough discipline.
