Well, it was worth all that last minute work on the pink dress because it looked so awesome! (And doubles as a Hyperbole and a half costume!)

It was so awesome to actually get to hang out with y'all this year--I know we'd "met" before, but I was glad to be able to say more than five words to you! Oh, and count me in if y'all are seriously trying to book and fill a suite for next year, I think it'd be epically awesome : D

I know! It's so much better when you get to spend time with new friends and get to know them. :D :D We'll keep people posted about the room. IDK if the Marriott can handle the awesomeness of 12 costumers in one suite though...

GAH I can't believe I never saw you at D*C! It looks like I missed your name change in all the craziness of this summer and so I didn't see your posts leading up to D*C...fixing that now! :(

Yeah, we were practicing up there Sat morning too. We ended up moving way far down as the Who group got bigger and bigger! *g*

I'm not terribly worried about my dress form as it's not too hard to build them back up-- when I worked at a costume shop we used to pad up dummies to be the exact shape of whoever we were fitting. Lots of batting and fiberfill. :)

Your pink dress sounds like Matt's Riddick last year, the days were blending together thanks to no sleep..

Yeah, it got to the point where I was like "...it's Thursday? Are you sure? What happened to the rest of the week?"

I hope you can make it next year! We all have to hang out LOTS!

At this point we're definitely planning to make it to D*C next year - figure a year should give us plenty of time to save and sew! I definitely need to work on not being so shy too.
