Nothing I regret

My parents are still chuckling over the circumstance with which I decided to drive on my own-employing an incompetent driver with bad body odor. I'm glad they're amused, because I definitely wasn't during said driver's tenure. If anything, I can't help but feel it's their fault why it wasn't until I was in my late twenties (oh, shit) that I learned ( Read more... )

It can very well serve as the plot for a Pixar movie.

I couldn't help but smile when I read that. Pixar and Pierce: two of your favorite things.

Yes, you need to go see Black Swan and The King's Speech now. Two very excellent films.

I guess I'm a sucker for stories about character growth. =)

Thankfully, Black Swan's finally coming out here next week, and I've already set up to go with my friends. Fingers crossed I get The King's Speech too.

Envy at the wonders of your regimen! I don't have the discipline to do a brisk workout right after waking up (since I usually just hit snooze and rush off plenty minutes of late later :P), much less jog. And my tummy's been a ghastly sight. Beyond that, I've no action plan, but oof, summer's coming soon! :|

And lucky we do have Black Swan screening. Might have a slim chance with The King's Speech, but I think someone up there will be pressing the distributors involved. We rarely ever have British films shown here. Only chance upon them whenever Shangri-La Cinema has their Cine Europa week.

Believe me when I say I don't like exercise any more since the day I started. If I never had to exercise again, I'd be the happiest girl ever. If you ever want to have a shot gaining some discipline, find the reason that'll get you to put on your trainers. Me, it was plain and simple vanity. It worked. The discipline will follow. ;)

Thanks for the tip on Cine Europa. I keep on promising to go, but never got around to it...and it's been six years. Gah. I'll keep my eyes peeled. =)
