An Overview of the past three years. Can be sumed up- In a few words-
Hard.Uneasy.Difficult.Love.Pain.Hurt.Friendship.Trust.Faith.BestFriends.

Nothing from high school should haunt you. You should take everything and learn from it. But don't teach yourself bitter negative thoughts because those are in your head. Make positive optimism from nothing. Learn to do that and you will be a happier person. Life is full of stages. This is only one of the most simple ones as you have realized.

it's good to reflect on things from the past - joys, dissappointments, fun and failures...it all helps you learn to deal with problems, and strenghtens you for darker hours which may come. im glad you keep all those things in your heart, because forgetting them all is a helluva lot worse. i just hope you never come to regret remembering those details...trust me, i know...it makes walks down memory lane a living hell, because you know there was a lesson you learned at each point, but you purposely forgot it...

you'll go far jackie - you're a great outgoing girl and i hope only the best for you!

You're right. Some things never leave completely and they can feel like they're haunting you. Even as time goes on and you slowly grow away from the past and have really happy days and nights, it will probably still be with you some nights, keeping you awake and wanting to write about it. But you'll just lay there thinking still of how things COULD have been different, thinking of how you wish they were different and perfect. But life is just a big bowl of jealousy. If we don't get what we want, we're jealous of those who have what we want, whether it's a spiffy new piece of technology, the new hottest clothing item, or the perfect love. It's flaunted everywhere and we can't escape it. The only way I believe to be really trully happy again is to find exactly what you're looking for. And it will happen, as much as we fear it won't, it will. Just as time is moving away from one bad thing and yet still "haunting" us, just remember the further from that memory you move, the closer you get to true happiness.
