If the house always wins, why do I keep on gambling? If I stop now there's no chance, whatsoever, of ever winning that jackpot. But, if I keep on gambling, will the slots eventually read 7...7...7...? Will the dream of hitting it big ever become a reality? Is it possible to actually beat the house at its own game? It's like the line in Ocean's Eleven, when Danny is talking to Rusty about robbing the casino... "Cause the house always wins. Play long enough, you never change the stakes. The house takes you. Unless, when that perfect hand comes along, you bet big, then you take the house."

Don't bet big every hand, just the right hand. ;)
