That was what my late Aunt Bay Bay(Gwendolyn) used to always say.  She passed away yesterday while in surgery for the removal of one of her kidneys.  She lived down the street from my Grandmother in Birmingham, AL.  I remember walking down to her house and eating the best breakfast I'd ever tasted.  She's the only person I know of that could make a ( Read more... )

You have my condolences and my prayers. Right now, Aunt BayBay is having breakfast with God and telling him how much she enjoys having you in her family.

The women in my family also have a fascination with bleach. My mom swears by Cloroxing everything. Reminds me of My Big Fat Greek Wedding when her dad kept soaking his elbow in Windex at the dinner table.

Anyway, you're in my thoughts, Natira.

Thanks so much, Cee. I think I inherited my bleach obsession from Bay Bay. I try to bleach everything I can get my hands on, lol.

Thanks, Lori. My memories of Bay Bay are keeping her alive. It just feels so weird now that she's gone. Birmingham won't ever be the same. I felt this way when I went to the 'Ham after my Grandmother passed. It doesn't feel right.

Thanks so much. *hugs back* The memories are fond and many. I feel a lot better about her passing than I did the other day, but it still hurts. Thanks again for your concern.
