I know. First Brittany, then Andrew and now Corey. I'm sad.

I know. Lucas was a movie I could related to and identify with on so many levels in junior high, I felt like someone had eavesdropped on my life when they wrote that movie. I pretty much was Winona Ryder's character *at least I think that was her, the dark-haired girl in the marching band who liked him in that movie, if it wasn't Winona, it was a girl who looked like her*. He was so silly and cute in Licensed to Drive. Corey was one of the best child actors of his time and had a neat subtlety that didn't involve mugging and shouting into the camera. Even though his adult life and career were a train wreck, he still went too soon. It's just sad.

That's Winona. Corey was talented. It's a shame his life ended the way it did. I always wish tragic child stars will battle their demons and win like Drew Barrymore did. Poor guy.
