[The feed opens to a young female smiling brightly. She's clearly happy about something.]

I was walking through town this morning, and the egg I received on Christmas hatched!

He looks quite adorable. Did you name him after someone you know?

It's actually after the name of one of the founders of the school I went to. His symbol was also a lion, and I find it somewhat resembles a lion.

It does look quite lion-like. Do you know what type it is?

[What timing you have!]

Godric ... I like that name.

It seems our eggs hatched the same day. [Video pans to show a curled up Electrike sleeping on his coat.] She's got quite the attitude. Your Godric seems more well-mannered so far.

I find it very fitting for him. It's after one of the founders of the school I went to, actually.

Did they now? [A soft laugh. Upon seeing the Electrike, she smiles.] Oh? What did you name her? [She pauses.] Yes, he does seem very well mannered. He's very serious, though. He won't play with Athena.

So it had several? Is it an old school?

[The video pans back to his face and an expression of undecided-ness.] I'm thinking of Tricia. [Hah, that sounds like his Noctowl.] Sounds like he'd get along with Holmes. My starter - I'm not sure he even understands the meaning of the word 'play'.

Yes, it was founded by four people over a thousand years ago. [It's an old school, clearly.]

Tricia is a nice name. [She smirks.] Perhaps Godric and Holmes would get along well, then.

Blimey! I wonder when my egg'll hatch. I hope I get something neat this time--

[...He's totally thinking of his Magikarp.]

Surely it will be soon, if mine hatched. I've seen that several other people have had theirs hatched, as well. [She nods, finding Ron's concern a bit amusing.] I'm sure you will.

Well with my luck the bloody thing'll never hatch.

[He makes a face.]

Or be another...fish.

Oh, come on now. You don't know that! [She rolls her eyes softly.] Mine favors the egg it was in, see? So clearly what yours is is not another Magikarp.

[ oh hello, that's new. Asuka's already intrigued. ]

It's a very regal name.

I believe so as well. It seems to fit him very well.

Is there a meaning behind it?

Somewhat. It's the name of one of the founders of the school I went to.

[Envy looks at the Shinx curiously.] Was the egg blue and black and yellow? I think I have the same one.

[He grins.] Then mine should hatch soon too.

Yes, it was, actually. [She tilts her head.] How interesting! And I would assume it should.

Well that's useful, knowing what it will be ahead of time. Interesting looking little thing, I'll have to think of a good name.

What's Godric mean?

Yes, that must be nice. [She didn't mind the surprise, herself, though.]

It's the name of one of the founders of the school I went to.
