Something in the way she moves...

The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of many things! Of witches, ghouls, and spiderwebs! Of ghosts and Halloween! It is my favorite time of the year and it already looks like I'm going to have to party hop a couple costume parties (mostly because of friend drama, though). Anyway, in my quest for this years get-up, and also in a feeble effort ( Read more... )

Have you read Pattie Boyd's biography? It's SPECTACULAR, especially when compared to Eric Clapton's, which came out at about the same time. I prefer Pattie's because though she's totally candid, you can tell she's not bitter about anything, even though George Harrison at one point I believe was interested in her sister (AFTER they were married!) and Clapton was an asshole. Clapton's biography makes me think he's pretty conceited, and at one point he simply dismisses his beastly treatment of women and drugs use - and I originally read his first, then hers with NO bias. Read hers, it's inspiring and it'll make you love her MORE!

ANYWAYS, I love Pattie Boyd and I'm adding this to memories.

I have not but it's totally on my amazon wishlist! Actually, your comment makes me want to just go out and buy it right now, lol.
Clapton always seems like such a conceited ass anyway, so I'm not surprised you think that. Although I do admire Pattie for her lack of bias, because I agree with you that she doesn't seem bitter about things. I've read some interviews with her and she has come to peace with a lot of things that I probably would never have been able to forgive had I been in her shoes (Yeah, apparently Georgie cheated on her with all her girlfriends while they were married!! And Clapton was just alcoholic and stupid).

Aw, thanks :)

I never have any idea what I'm going to do for Halloween until like...the week before. It's kind of sad.
