A little bit of everything

Mar 16, 2012 23:02

Been cutting back on various commitments, per doctor's orders.

Haven't been sick for a whole 5 days.  :)  Let's hope I get a bit more of a run going, but I'll take 5 days at this point.  (Serial colds alternating with stomach flus almost continually since November.)

Super cute outfit, especially the fascinator, which matches the dress so well! You look great!

And so glad the changes in what you take on seem to be helping how you feel. Hope it keeps up!

Thanks! I'm so chuffed about the fascinator. Did I mention that the dress and sweater AND the trench coat by itself each cost less than the fascinator? And the whole thing together was about as much as the dress only I had bought at Nordies, so I felt like it was an all around big win. ;)

Thanks. Yes, feeling good feels good. More, please!

:)

And dirndl...wow. I am surprised. How cool, though, that you have a flattering to you national dress! Are you going for the real wool kind or something dirndl-ish?

You look great, girl! The fascinator's seriously awesome! (of course, in true Royal Wedding style, you could always have gone for the York girl's antlers ;-) )

Yay for feeling better! Here's hoping your good days continue!

Thank you! I am going to lend Eugenie my fascinator when I'm done because she has no taste!

:)

Feeling better is so nice. Long may it continue.

I do love the fascinator! I had no idea those were even purchaseable in the US, and I'm proud of you for (1) having found one! that (2) matches your dress so well. It's a fab ensemble.

Found it at Nordstrom, where I never shop. But I suspected they would havsomethibg fabulous.

On phone! Sorry for text errors!

Ironically, they had two choices in this style...one in melon and one in magenta, either would have gone. They had about 50 hat and fascinator options

My phone is so horrid, but only on LJ replies. It won't let me see the sentence I'm typing. I have to wait until later, and then if I make edits, it flips up again and I'm editing blind.

Dum.

You look gorgeous in that dress, which is gorgeous in and of itself. I adore the fascinator, too. WIN!

Thanks! I decided against the sophisticated champagne dress with sequin cap sleeves in favor of some color and cheapitude!
