Reason #45217 that I hate driving...

Somebody hit my car in a parking lot today. (They were nice enough to leave a note and a phone number.)

Anyway, the bumper is now dented. I don't care about the aesthetics, I do care about safety. Any ideas on how to tell if the damage requires body work?

You may remember that happened to me recently. Dusty's Collision will look at your car from the outside for free. If you want them to take things apart to inspect if the foam on the inside is damaged, you have to pay. It's more ore less walk-in service.

Could you take a few pictures and post them on here? That might be helpful.

I agree with the comment above about getting an estimate (or a couple if the first one thinks it's more than a couple hundred dollars to repair, regardless of the amount of damage).
