"God" might be taking it a bit far, but it's the same general principle, I suppose.

Did you have something to contribute to my observation about the fog? Or were you just going to make an astoundingly astute observation about the fact that I appear to be a cat?

...I'm probably the last person who would be bothered by a talking cat. I'm more concerned about that "end of the world" statement.

Things work rather differently here than they did back where I came from. I doubt that anything so drastic as "the end of the world" is happening here, though I shouldn't be surprised if whatever that fog is concealing is something unpleasant.

If it's concealing anything at all, of course. From what I've seen, these curses don't generally have any real purpose behind them...but that could easily change.
