It's funny(certainly not funny as in comic) how such little things, like not being able to find Your Toothbrush; when your going through a really horrible time. Can leave You, feeling like You have absolutely no control over Your life. All I can say is: Been there, done that.

Brilliant? Amazing? Outstanding? All of the above! It was SUCH a touching piece and I could literally feel my heart aching. I can't believe you wrote Seth, but you wrote him perfectly. It was just PERFECT in every single way. I loved the ending especially! Beautiful, D. Beautiful! Heart it, hun. Heart it to death!

I think this is the first Seth tragic flashback I've read (compared to plenty of Chino!Ryan ones I've read and written). Very sad and important, since I hadn't thought about this part of Kirsten's life and the impact it may have had--you do get a little from the "Risky Business" moment w/the tea set. So, well done!

Glad you liked it. I felt like, if Kirsten had been that upset when Caleb passed, imagine how she felt when her mother passed away. And growing up in Newport, where alcohol is passed out like Capri Suns to little league soccer teams, she may have had a drinking problem way before Rebecca entered the picture.
