Oerba Yuna Fang
Fang is easily the most important person in Vanille's life. The two of them are like two halves of the same, and therefore, nearly inseparable. You really can't have one without the other. Vanille, since coming the island, has had to survive without Fang- something she's capable of doing, but not necessarily good at, especially when she's faced with something like the requirements to stay alive on the island. Needless to say, she died several times before Fang showed up- which makes her feel both extremely guilty for hurting Fang, as well as completely helpless because she feels like she can't do anything without Fang there to save her. While it's a relief to have her here, having to come clean about how she'd been doing on the island before she arrived was something she was terrified of doing. She's still not sure whether everything is okay, considering Fang forgave her so easily. She loves Fang with everything she has, no questions asked.

Lightning Farron
Like Fang, Lightning is Vanille's family, which she's very much protective of. Unlike Fang, however, Vanille isn't entirely comfortable revealing everything to Lightning, partially because she feels like, even though she knows Lightning cares for her and everyone else, she might anger her or get on her nerves. Unlike Fang, Lightning doesn't understand the way Vanille functions, so it's hard to be completely clean with her. That said, she loves her. She is family, after all- and Vanille owes her a lot, considering the past.

Zuko
Oh, Zuko. Probably the representation of all of her most awkward feelings on the island. She really cares for him, and wants to... Bring some light into his life, in any way she can. He seems so down, so angry, so upset- and she feels like maybe, just maybe, she can help him in some way, even if it's only just a little bit. They're a lot alike in a lot of ways, so she wants to help him any way she can when it comes to figuring out how to be happy (and maybe he can help her sort out her issues, too). Unfortunately, (because their muns are evil, evil beings) they keep getting thrust into the most awkward of situations... Liiiike waking up naked together with Sora's pet skunk and not remembering a damn thing. There's definitely a huge crush there.

Yuri Lowell
Vanille actually has no idea that she reminds Yuri of someone else- and he probably has no idea that Yuri reminds her, in a way, of Fang- he's a very good big-brother type, having fun with her, looking out for her, and she loves the relationship he has with Flynn- they're such good friends, both to each other and to her. There may be a little bit of a crush there, but Vanille doesn't exactly recognize it as such- except that she just loves being around him... And she doesn't think it's just the strawberry shortcake talking! They were married for the marriage curse, and even though she ended up learning it wasn't for real, she still had fun.

Noel Vermillion
Vanille thinks Noel is absolutely adorable, and a blast to talk to. They both think the same way about a lot of things, and are somewhat similar, but she doesn't feel as if she's talking into a mirror, either. Noel doesn't seem weighed down by anything, and is instead upbeat and perky and determined just because. Vanille sort of wonders how she does it! The two of them work together, now, and are forming a special kind of derpy bond.

Sora
Vanille loves Sora to itty bitty pieces- because he's such a great friend! From the get-go, no one has matched her smile-for-smile in cheerfulness other than Sora. She feels a kindred spirit with him, and also knows that if there's fun going on, more than likely, Sora is probably involved. This is added to the fact that he saves turtles, picks strawberries, and doesn't afraid of not knowing how to work the device properly.

Flynn Scifo
Vanille likes Flynn, but she worries for him. He works way too hard! He's very nice and seems to care for her a lot, and while she appreciates it, she wishes he would look out for himself a bit more, too. She would be madder at him if he didn't do things like sending Yuri to sit with her while she's waiting outside the forest. She just wants him to relax every once in a while, as he never seems to do anything that isn't working!

Jet
Jet is someone from Zuko's world, and therefore, a person of interest! He's a really nice guy who doesn't mind that she asks a lot of questions, and seems to be a good friend to Zuko, even... Though he posted an entry behind Zuko's back asking someone for help on his behalf and embarrassed the poor guy. Even still, she likes talking to him and wants to get to get to know him better.

Toph
Vanille thinks Toph is a really interesting and strong person. She really admires the fact that she has lost her bending, and therefore her ability to see through her bending, but she hasn't given up and doesn't act at all helpless. She's also really fun to talk to, and has a great sense of humor, and never seems to mind her asking so many questions. Vanille was really impressed with Toph's bending during the powers event.

Sokka
The co-founder of Team Awesome! So she's not exactly sure what they're a team for, but she's happy at least to be a part of it! So far their conquests include naming Sokka's newfound pet squirrel a ridiculously long name. But it works for her! She really likes Sokka. He's fun to talk to, and says some pretty silly stuff sometimes, even if it doesn't make complete sense. She can tell he's a good guy, though, and wants to get to know him better.

Cloud Strife
Cloud is an interesting person to Vanille; he doesn't act like it, but, it's actually easy to get him to relax a little and have some fun, which she likes. All it took was just a little poking and prodding and he smiled, danced with her, and just relaxed at the masquerade. He even agreed with her that they should do more things like that, because everyone on the island needs a break every now and then. She hopes that they (or at least someone) can make that a reality one day. Especially if it means Cloud loosened up even more!

Professor Layton
Professor Layton is very nice! He's always asking the network puzzles, and Vanille tries really hard to answer them every time! He's also a very polite man, and since he's so kind she didn't mind helping him out when he hurt himself coming out of the forest. She called him old, but she didn't mean it in a bad way! If she knew she'd offended him, she'd apologize for it.

Link is pretty mysterious! He doesn't talk much, and he has to try to communicate through pantomime... And unfortunately, Vanille isn't all too great at pantomime! She tries to understand what he's saying, but usually it takes a few tries before she can get it right. However, he seems to be a pretty positive, determined, and independent person, and she's interested in talking to him more, and learning more about him. (Currently, he thinks there might be something 'special' about her, because of some communication mishaps that took place at the masq.)

Vanille's relationship with Kamina is a bit complicated to say the least. She makes her worried a lot, because even though he had good intentions when he tried to get off the island by raiding the temple, he ended up getting himself killed and a lot of other people hurt. She gets pumped up by the things he says, even though sometimes she has no idea what she's getting pumped about. And, he's a really huge pervert who undresses people with his eyes and tries to see up people's skirts!

Ty Lee
Ty Lee is like Vanille's soul sister. They're seriously the same person, although Ty Lee seems a lot more cheerful and upbeat (and ditzy) than Vanille. She's also extremely flexible, which Vanille finds really weird but also interesting. Vanille isn't sure how Ty Lee can be friends with Azula, considering how different the two of them are, but she doesn't think less of her because of it! They both share a love of the color pink.

Azula
Azula scares Vanille like no tomorrow. Not only does she make her worry for Zuko and what might happen to him with her around, but she also just exudes this personality that makes her extremely wary of her, though at times she has acted perfectly nice and polite and made Vanille question whether or not she's as bad as everyone says. Of course, she believes Zuko when he says she is bad, so, while she tries not to get close to Azula, and doesn't trust anything she says... She can't help being a little interested.
