Character Relations
Snow Villiers. Final Fantasy XIII. Family.
Like the rest of the l'Cie caught up in Vanille and Fang's mess on Cocoon, spending time together and fighting for their lives and Cocoon's future has forged an inseparable bond between Snow and Vanille. He's family, to her, as strong as flesh and blood. Snow is like the big brother she never knew she wanted, and Vanille thinks he's a lot of fun, and has come to rely on him a lot at Garden. She feels indebted to him.
Serah Farron. Final Fantasy XIII. Family.
Like Snow, Serah is part of the family! Vanille has awful feelings of guilt about what her actions did to Serah, and she's still not entirely sure she deserves forgiving, even though Serah seems fine being her friend. Vanille hopes she can one day make everything up to her, and that they truly can be the friends they could have been, if there weren't any fal'Cie involved.
Sazh Katzroy. Final Fantasy XIII. Family.
Another family member, another source of guilt, and this time one of the biggest, considering her direct involvement in what got his son branded by a fal'Cie. Vanille relies on Sazh a great deal in canon, and that carries over to Garden. She hopes she'll get the chance to try and make things right with him, even if he's already forgiven her for the accident. Sazh is a brilliant, funny man, and Vanille adores him! Even if he is too negative sometimes.
Hope Estheim. Final Fantasy XIII. Family.
