Are You the Favorite Person of Anybody? Are you Anbody's Favorite Person?

I slept at my parents house last night and I was looking through all of my stuff in room before I went to bed. I realized that I need to get rid of some stuff. I can't justify hanging on to 6 stuffed animals from Macy's because they someday could, potentially, be collector's items. And my vhs edition of The Thorn Birds Probably won't be watched ever again. The same goes for my collection of t-shirts I keep to wear just in case I'm going to get really dirty. But rarely have I been in such a situation where I get so dirty that I just trash a shirt instead of washing because it is so incredibly dirty. I think a trip to Goodwill is not too far off.

There is this website called learningtoloveyoumore.com. To best explain what it is I'll just use the information from the website: "Learning to Love You More is both a web site and series of non-web presentations comprised of work made by the general public in response to assignments given by artists Miranda July and Harrell Fletcher". So assignment #50 is Take a flash photo under your bed and the instructions are "Don't vacuum or alter anything under your bed beforehand. Take a photo under there with a strong flash, preferably with the camera sitting on the ground."

So I submitted this photo under my bed here at home:

Maybe when I get to my dorm I'll do the same for my bed there.

But there were some really neat assignments that I liked. Some were better then other of course. Some of my favorite ones were:

#9 Draw a constellation from someone's freckles.
#55 Photograph a significant outfit.
#16 Make a paper replica of your bed.
#11 Photograph a scar and write about it.

There were many other assignments, but I liked these the best.

I think I'm going to get a haircut soon. There is this salon next to Decatur Cd called Terra Mater, not too far from school. I was thinking of checking them out. I would just get a trim of course. I'm still going to let my hair grow longer. I was thinking about what goal of hair length I'm looking for, how long do I want it to be? Well I was thinking about this and I recalled one summer at YMCA day camp my counselor Jessica took her hair and tucked it under her armpit and made underarm hair our of her own hair. So I think armpit length would be desirable. Currently my hair is at my collar bone so I estimate another 4-6 months of growing and I would be in that length range. I did have hair that long one time, but I was about 6 years old.

Phew! This week is going to be a busy one. Lots of assignments to take care of for school. I've got to sign up for classes too. But luckily I don't have to work next weekend. That'll be nice. Hopefully I'll have some time this week to do some drawing. Last week I did a lot of drawings and hand painted wooden cutouts that I made into magnets. I am very proud of those magnets. Right now they are on the Fournier Family Fridge, if you ever stop the "Crib on the Hill in Lawrenceville", you are more than welcome to see them.
PS the "Crib on the Hill in Lawrenceville" is what my dad and I called our house when were first moved to Georgia.

Well this entry is getting a little lengthy and I'm getting a little hungry. So to close, I hope everyone is doing well and don't be strangers.

EDIT:

I had this disposable camera in my room and I had the pictures developed. You can see them here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ashleyjo55/sets/
Click on the set called "Disposable Camera"

I'll go ahead and apologize for the bad quality, all of them are scans. It just didn't occur to me to have them put onto a photo cd, but enjoy!
