we do. but $100??? i mean, i guess that's only two really nice dinners complete with drinks and dessert but when do i have time to do something like that? and i sort of think this is whatever could be worse than an afterthought, having already received a christmas card from him with nothing in it a week ago.

Sorry about the gift card, but hey, gift card? I gave my mom a gift card for her birthday and she gave it to my sister for her birthday. Musical gift cards!

i actually love gift cards and i feel bad for sounding so unappreciateve because $100 is $100 but i guess i'm like, thanks, but $100 on food is excessive and weird. this year for my birthday john gave me two or three different $25 gift cards and that was pretty cool - it allowed me to get little treats for the kids and i when i was low on real money. and a book at barnes and noble :)

i was just coming on here to leave you a comment - i hadn't received notification so i checked my account, again, but there isn't a payment from her. i did send her a money request this afternoon so there'd be more email address mix-up again. i'm sorry there was so much back and forth about this.

Sigh. I love her but she's a flake. She may have just been hurrying me off the phone and she does everything with her iPhone since her iBook is busted so it's possible she started to do it and was distracted. I'll call her now.
